Full Moon Farm Eventing Foundation Fund
The Full Moon Farm Eventing Foundation Fund provides grants for training and education in the sport of eventing for riders who face challenges accessing such training and education due to financial or social-economic circumstances, exclusion or difficulty due to race, nationality, gender or gender identification, sexual orientation, age or other barrier. This grant is aimed to help eventers at all levels of the sport to encourage riders to chase their goals and keep learning and developing as athletes.
The Full Moon Farm Eventing Foundation supports this grant and a committee of five USEA members will make up the Selection Committee for the grants. Grant applications will be reviewed and awards made by the Selection Committee based on the following:
applicants must clearly demonstrate that these funds will be used specifically for training and education purposes in eventing,
applicants must be members of the USEA,
applicants are encouraged to explain the barriers to opportunities that they have experienced in the sport of eventing or in the outside world, which has impacted their ability to fully participate in eventing,
applicants are encouraged to present examples of how they have championed the sport of eventing and/or promoted inclusivity in the sport, and
applicants are encouraged to explain the impact eventing has had on them, both as riders and as individuals outside the sport.
Applicants should outline the training or educational activity for which they plan to use the grant funds. Grants will be awarded up to $1,000 per year per athlete. The grants have an application deadline of October 15 and will be awarded at the USEA Annual Convention.
