The USEA Foundation is honored to administer a number of grants and scholarships, all designed to assist event riders reach their goals. The grants provide funds to be used for coaching, training, and participating in competitions aimed at advancing the skills of both horse and rider.
Wilton Fair Fund Grants The Wilton Fair Fund allows up to $100,000 in grants to be given each year for a variety of educational opportunities for riders 29 and under who have not yet ridden for a senior team.
Rebecca Broussard International Developing Riders Grant Available to riders at the CIC3* and above who have not yet ridden represented the USA in an official team competition. (Preference given to riders who compete at the CIC3* level at The Event at Rebecca Farm, Kalispell, Montana.)
The Essex Horse Trials Grant Available to riders 25 years-of-age and under competing at the CIC3*, CCI3* and/or CCI4* levels. Riders to submit Request for Consideration forms by September 1.
Amy Tryon Young Riders' Grant Available to riders 21 years-of-age and under. Riders to be nominated by their Area Young Riders' Coordinator.
Seema Sonnad Junior Riders' Grant Available to riders 18 years-of-age and under. Riders to submit Request for Consideration form by September 1.
Worth The Trust Adult Amateur Riders' Grant Available to two amateur riders. One award is made to a Young Amateur and a second award is made to an Adult Amateur Rider 26 years of age and above.
Le Samurai Fund - Area Adult Amateur Education Grants. Awarded to each of the 10 USEA Areas upon application by the Area Chair.
The Roger Haller Scholarship for the Education of Eventing Officials Two scholarships are available to officials who are seeking promotion to a higher level of licensing. Officials must hold the USEF "r" license or above.
