The USEA Foundation is honored to administer a number of grants and scholarships, all designed to assist event riders reach their goals. The grants provide funds to be used for coaching, training, and participating in competitions aimed at advancing the skills of both horse and rider.

Please note, not all grants require a completed application form.

2019 Application forms for those grants requiring an application will be posted on August 15.

Wilton Fair Fund Grants The Wilton Fair Fund allows up to $100,000 in grants to be given each year for a variety of educational opportunities for riders 29 and under who have not yet ridden for a senior team. Selection is based on performance throughout the year and not by application.

Rebecca Broussard International Developing Riders Grant  Available to riders at the CIC3* and above who have not yet ridden represented the USA in an official team competition. (Preference given to riders who compete at the CIC3* level at The Event at Rebecca Farm, Kalispell, Montana.)

Application forms are required. Applications for travel grants to The Event at Rebecca Farm will be available this spring. Final grant applications are due November 1.

The Essex Horse Trials Grant Available to riders 25 years-of-age and under competing at the CIC3*, CCI3* and/or CCI4* levels. Riders to complete online application forms by October 15.

Amy Tryon Young Riders' Grant Available to riders 14-21 years-of-age. Nominee to be selected by each Area Selection Committee and submitted to Chair of the USEA Young Riders' Committee at which time a USEA National Selection Committee will choose the overall grant recipient. Riders to complete and submit an online application by October 15. 2019 Forms will be available August 15. Seema Sonnad Junior Riders' Grant Available to riders 18 years-of-age and under. Riders to complete and submit an online application by October 15. 019 Forms will be available August 15.

Worth The Trust Adult Amateur Riders' Grant Available to two amateur riders. One award is made to a Young Amateur and a second award is made to an Adult Amateur Rider 26 years of age and above. 

Le Samurai Fund - Area Adult Amateur Education Grants. Awarded to each of the 10 USEA Areas upon application by the Area Chair.

The Roger Haller Scholarship for the Education of Eventing Officials A scholarship is available to officials who are seeking promotion to a higher level of licensing. Officials must hold the USEF "r" license or above. Application forms will be posted by August 15.
